Even though it sounds stupid, have you emptied the cage carefully? Sometimes they can hide pretty well and if the cage doesn't have any openings then the snake can't just majically get out. If he really is out here are some things that could help. First check anyplace that is warm (heaters, hotwater pipes, ect.) Any small dark corners like inside piles of stuff in closets or under dressers would be good to check too. Anouther thing you can do is put a thin line of cornstarch, flour or baking soda across all of the doorways. leave all the doors open and then check for snake tracks in the morning. This could at least help narrow down what room he is in.
